5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had three students attend this school over the past 9 years and unfortunately we have two more years to go. We've had so many problems with the teachers, counselors and administrators. The counselors at this school don't not care about the future of their students. They are just working for a paycheck. They couldn't care less about the students. Most of the teachers here that we've had the misfortune of dealing with have had the typical overpaid babysitter mentality. Gym/football coaches teaching other subject they're not qualified to teach. Teachers not actually teaching at all. The students are given laptops with a website and basically left on their own to figure out the rest. When students do ask for help they are told to go to the video instruction page and it will explain the assignment. Teachers do just as much bullying as students and administrators don't believe the students or parents and do nothing about the problems brought to their attentionParent Review3y ago - Syracuse School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended this school for kindergarten and first grade. In both cases she had excellent teachers who had to manage a lot more students than they should. Regardless, both teachers excelled and provided my student with the extra attention and support she needed. My kiddo is an anxious one, and a quick text or email to the teacher always resulted in the extra attention (sometimes she just needs a hug!) she needed to feel safe, loved, and ready to learn.Academically, my student received everything she needed! Speech therapy, star reading class, and probably one other specialty program I'm not recalling. Would I like more special attention for my student? Yes, but what she received was enough to improve all of her test scores and keep her at grade level despite her unusually stressful home circumstances. Really can't say enough good things about every teacher and faculty member we interacted with here. Big shout outs to Thorne and Gonzalez, both of whom are excellent teachers.Parent Review1y ago - Davis Connect K-6

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSOME teachers are nice and actually want what’s best for the student but the principal strain is a joke! Students and parents can come with concerns and all you get is “we will look into it and get back with you”. You will never get a follow up. It’s terrible ! My kids didn’t experience bullying from other students but did from teachers.Other Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 1734 W Ross Rd.
