My 5 year old has attended since he was 3 and this is the only district that accepts 3 year olds in the midlands that I am aware of. He has enjoyed it and I'm sure he will miss it as he will be attending Sandhills next year. He has begun to learn how to read and knows all of his ABC's and can count to 100 and higher by tens.He has also learned basic addition. The curricular/teaching process is Montessori and all learning is a hands on approach with lessons updated weekly/monthly depending on how quickly they learn. I also love the PALS meetings that they offer each month that provide learning for parents and activities with your children.

"You have to have your own transportation. Their is no public transportation. No side walks, it’s very safe and quiet."

"It is nice and peaceful. People mostly stay to themselves, but they seem friendly enough. Mostly everyone has a pet. Gaston is country living close to the city. "

"Gaston offers large amounts of land. Your pets will have plenty of land to run around and explore on. It will be a less than you expect to pay as well."

"About 30 minutes to major areas (Columbia, Lexington). Grocery and gas near by in Gaston and S. Congaree. 15-20 min to red bank. "

"I live near by. Its nice and quiet out here though in hunting season you get the occasional gun fire as bambi is buying the farm. Lots of folks have cats and dogs and kids and everyone gets along. The schools are pretty good but night life around here pretty much consists of the BP gas station down the street. Again you better like quiet out here..."
