8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGoodson, is Okay. I think they teach the start and that's it. They don't really require the kids to read or write. There's no homework so your kiddo likely feel challenged. Absolutely no field trips or science fair or any educational, peer-building activities. The school is not diverse at all. The students don't really have opportunities to mingle or get to know eachother. There hasn't been an eight grade mixer, dance or any activity to make their time there, memorable. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe staff is nice, but they have no understanding of how to execute 504 plans for students with learning disabilities. Their communication with parents of children on 504 plans is nonexistent. Teachers do not provide proper accommodations to the students. Teachers expect the students to handle all communication to their parents as if they are adults. Things get lost in translation then the school blames the student and parents. Also they blame the state for not providing enough support for special needs students.
