    • Ronrichmond10636
"I’m retired so no commute As the area continues to grow traffic is getting worse. Lots of new building in the area "
    • Matt
"Plenty of dog owners, nice places to play and walk dogs, plenty of waste cans. Overall good for dog owners "
    • Dkschott%40gmail.com
"Retired but it’s about 20-25 minutes to downtown sarasota and 30 minutes to downtown Bradenton. 50-60 to Tampa st Pete"
    • Krista Mae
"Great family friendly & with plenty to do. Pet friendly. Lots of community service HOA maintained "
    • MF
"I’ve lived here for 20 years before we had any restaurants/shops. Things have changed quite a bit, but still a nice family oriented community "
    • P J
"Place is crammed and over developed but go ahead move here and don’t complain after it takes you 45 minutes to drive to Publix which is 3 miles down the road.. there is a stop light every 100 yards… did I mention traffic and terrible drivers? Homes are built 2 feet away from each other 🥴"
    • Robert.ellis.hunter
"Lots of community events and fun nearby. Lovely sidewalks and nearby parks. Safe for long walks. Everything is well maintained."
    • Cliff Ehlers
"I have lived in Lakewood Ranch for five years. It’s a great place and a great community. Always something to do, close to Sarasota and Tampa if you can’t find something here."
    • Lynn Meyer
"I work from home so I don’t have to commute. The number of walkers and bikers is large and it’s a great neighborhood fir that. As far as commuting goes—metro transit service is not great here. You must own a car to get around and traffic is extremely bad in winter due to the influx of visitors and seasonal residents."
    • Cliff Ehlers
"We have lived here for almost five years. Great community, quiet, safe and friendly atmosphere. The area is still growing with home and business."
    • Ptgawkowski
"Dogs are well trained and owners are respectful of others. We never see dogs on the loose or are fearful of approaching dogs."
    • Paul Kirsch
"It’s a 55 and older community with a beautiful golf course and other amenities such as tennis courts, a large pool, spa, health club and poolside bar. "

"Lakewood Ranch is an awesome place to live. It is a planned community with many local events all year round. It is new, fresh and vibrant. Property values are strong and climbing."
    • Aggiegatorbg
"Good amenities. Bike lanes and foot paths are great. Schools are very good. Neighbors can be distant; many from NYC, New Jersey etc. and just not particularly sociable."
    • Old M. N. B.
"Everyone is very kind and friendly. We all look out for each other. This area is very well maintained and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. "
    • Aisha A.
"Mainly a quiet community very few kids very bad schools houses lose value very fast. Neighbors are not very friendly. "
