"I love this neighborhood. Not every neighborhood is completely safe but so far, I've had no problems. Just about everything is close by. I like going to the park which is right down the street from me. People overall are kind and just mind their own business. An excellent neighborhood to live in."
  • Trulia User
"School system is good sometimes people drive fast and crazy but over all it’s an ok neighborhood for family’s "
  • Trulia User
"i have been renting a house in goodyear heights for nearly four years. all of my neighbors are friendly and quiet. everyone is pretty dog friendly here, too. im nearby 6 corners, tallmadge circle & chapel hill which all have conveniently located shopping centers, restaurants & plazas. cozy place overall. "
  • Erin234500
"i dont commute anywhere yet as im not working. there are lots of places nearby to walk to or drive . easy access to the highways also. seems like a decent location if you do need to commute to work. i habent seen any public transit but lots of pedestrian and car traffic idk what else to say "
  • Qiana C.
"I drive and my home is close to the exit so it’s easy for me to get back and forth. Looking to purchase a house in the same community that I currently reside. It’s quiet, safe, and my neighbors all get along. "
  • Brayanne G.
"There’s dog families in the area. They seem to pick up after them and owners and dogs seem mild mannered. However, some dogs wake you up by barking for longer than appreciated time frames. "
  • Chloe M.
"It’s not really unique. But it is nice, and feels homey. It has a little bit of everything. Good schools nearby, close to Tallmadge Circle"
  • Zion B.
"Safeness and awareness because some areas sound good but they really aren’t while some areas sound ok but are really the best spot "
  • Autumn D.
"I live here, lost my dog and the neighbors were very helpful. A lot of people willingly bundled up on a cold night to help find my dog. He was found at 4am"
  • Mary W.
"The potholes on the back roads in Goodyear Heights need fixed; theyre terrible. My car was in perfect shape when I moved here in September on 2017 and since then it's been beaten to a pulp by the roads. It'd be appropriated and definitely wouldnt go unnoticed if there was a little bit of care put into the streets of our neighborhoods. Thank you šŸ’•"
  • Brayla M.
"I wouldn’t say it’s special but it’s one of the better parts of Akron. Yes stuff still happens here but not too often. I’ve lived here for 11 years and counting and haven’t had too much trouble with the neighborhood but of course there’s always those one or two houses that you just don’t get why they don’t keep up with their property."
  • Nikkimbkitty
"My family and I absolutely love the Goodyear Heights area. It's very clean and quiet. Love the park setting, squirrels, birds, beautiful trees and flowers😊"
  • Lakesha P.
"I have been here for 5 years and I love it! It’s beautiful family friendly and neighborly. I enjoy he peace and quiet! The school is great and my kids love calling this home!"
  • Trulia User
"I’ve lived here for over 30 yrs and I love my neighborhood. My neighbors keep up on their homes and lawns, everyone’s very friendly "
  • Sarahbug9208
"there are different parks, and nature walks everywhere you turn. sidewalks and an beautiful scenery "
  • Katie M.
"We've lived here for 3 years and for the most part it's nice, and people are friendly. There are a lot of kids to play with for my son."
  • Karissajamison
"you sees dogs everyday here dog owners clean up after their dogs too. most of dogs are very well groomed too."
  • Colleen H.
"We have two large dogs that are avid walkers. We hate walking the dogs in our area because there are several dog owners that don’t leash and our dogs have been approached multiple times and have even been but before. Now, on the other side of Goodyear Heights near the park we’ve never had this issue. We could walk those neighborhoods for two hours with no issue. Now, near 6 corners we can’t even walk around the school without an issue, and our dogs aren’t agressors."
  • Alyssa
"Very easy, minimal traffic. The pot holes are real. Neighborhoods from my house to downtown can get a little sketchy, but overall its a safe trip with no issues. "
  • Precilazambrano
"My family and I have been here a few months. But this is the first home that lived in, where our neighbors took the time to introduce themselves. We are renting, but are looking to buy. The only thing that is not so nice, is the high school for our kids. The kids are a bit rough around the edges, but with alternative choices for school, This area could be our permanent home."
  • Shannonballard40
"schools are not that great here plus bullying is a big problem around here. i am moving and not looking back. "
  • Ashley M.
"Neighbors are dog friendly. Some neighbors that aren't don't like the dogs in the front yard. Some people that walk their dogs don't clean up after them."
