5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIncredible school if your kid is “normal” but if they have special needs run away from this school district. The District heads for student services were so horrible to work with I had to pull my child out of the district completely. It’s a shame as all my other kids have had incredible experiences here. Id gladly edit my review and bring my kids back as soon as they have a massive leadership change in this department at the district level. For now I tell everyone I know to stay awayParent Review1y ago14 Reviews - Madison Rose Lane School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would 100% recommend Rose Lane Elementary School. My child has been attending since kindergarten, and the teachers and staff have made such a positive impact in so many ways. They truly care about their students and go above and beyond to create a supportive, welcoming, and encouraging environment. The education my child has received here has been amazing. The teachers are patient, dedicated, and genuinely invested in helping every student learn and grow both academically and personally. Communication with families has always been great, and it’s clear that the school values each child’s success.I’m so grateful for the kindness, support, and strong educational foundation Rose Lane has provided for my child over the years. It’s a wonderful school with an incredible community, and I highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring and positive place for their children to learn and thrive.Parent Review1mo ago12 Reviews - North High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from out of state to central Phoenix before my son was starting 9th grade. He applied for North’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program and started there last year. I was worried about the transition from a rural small school to an urban large school as a new kid freshman year after being online for 8th grade d/t COVID but he has never been happier. Supportive environment, great teachers, and he feels like he’s found his ‘people’. He also was in two high school sports teams and plans on joining a third next year. We couldn’t be happier.Parent Review4y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 1701 E Colter St #177.

"There are none that I am aware of. My wife and I moved here four years ago and we have yet to see any type of neighborhood activities or get togethers. It would be nice if block parties existed out here. "

"There can be a high rate of crime in the area with a large homeless population, and the city doesn't maintain parks and public places. It's home to me as I grew up here and love it, but there are definitely downsides."

"There are a few hiking spots close by, there is a nice running trail that runs alongside the canal and Camelback Rd. Southwest Human Development makes its home here supporting early childhood for much of Maricopa County. There’s no shortage of businesses around here. This area borders the more well to do Arcadia and Biltmore neighborhoods as well as the more decidedly homeless and drugee scene that runs South of Thomas Rd. It’s a typical Phoenix neighborhood otherwise."

"Dogs are everywhere and most people are good dog owners. Every once in a while, someone will have their dog off leash that is not well-trained enough. But it’s rare. Also, at times there are coyotes about. Most of the time they run. Away from people, but I imagine owners with small dogs might feel a bit nervous to see one. "
