When you enter the house, you will find the original hardwood flooring throughout except for the bathrooms where you will find stunning custom tile. In the kitchen you will love the warmth of the butcher block countertops, stainless steel appliances, and the open feeling thanks to multiple access points and windows overlooking the yard. Thankfully the beautiful mature garden was never ripped out to make a lawn. The previous owners were here for 15 years and added more to the garden which has multiple pathways and sitting areas. They gardened organically as we continue to do with our gardener. We have fruit trees and a good area where you could put in a "kitchen garden" if you wish. Three bedrooms, an office, two bathrooms, LR, DR, mud room and dressing room with laundry. The spacious spa/bathroom and large dressing room/laundry room (200sf) were added to the home 6 years ago. There is parking for three cars on a concrete pad in front of workshop garage that is 600sf. There is plenty of metal shelving for storage. We keep our truck to one side with a trickle charger to have available when we are in Pensacola

About Us:
As your possible landlords we thought you should know about us.
We live in Northern, CA near the coast in a beautiful agricultural area. I write on food and agriculture and have a radio show as well on food and farming. I grew up in Mobile, AL and my family lives there and in Pensacola, FL. My husband (who is a tech wizard and great cook) and I spent 2021 & 2022 in Mobile and Pensacola caring for my 93-year-old Dad. We decided to buy a home in Pensacola 10 minutes away from sister in the beautiful old neighborhood of East Hill. We bought it to furnish and rent until we retire in several years from now. The interior has been completely repainted and all of the furnishings are either less than two years old or pieces that were in our family. Because we both love to cook (and do occasional catering) the kitchen has everything you could need for preparing wonderful meals. My husband and I actually met through cooking at a small fly-fishing lodge a friend owned. He and I swapped cooking for the lodge on alternate weekends in exchange for staying there and fishing. After a year of leaving notes for each other, we met in person and have now been together for 25 years.

We have been landlords for over 30 years.
Our first rentals in our new house in Pensacola have been to two wonderful couples that each had a young daughter. They have been great relationships and worked out well because we have such a good team to support our renters. Our gardener, our handyman, my sister and my nephew and his wife as well as a cousin who is married to a local contractor will. We also manage two smaller homes in CA on our property and have had renters for 16 years and have been blessed with amazing tenants. Prior to that we had a home which included a third-floor apartment and had two different wonderful tenants over the course of 5 years. Clear, kind, respectful communication is the key to things running smoothly for us and we look for that in our renters. We keep all properties in lovely condition and our tenants have been very appreciative and careful with our properties.
