4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are incredibly grateful for the support our family has received from the staff at this school. The care, attention, and understanding shown have made a meaningful difference in our daily lives. The school nurse, her assistant, and the counselor have truly gone above and beyond. Not only in supporting our child, but in keeping us informed every step of the way. Their communication is consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring. It’s clear they genuinely care, and that compassion shows in everything they do.Having a team like this in place gives us peace of mind and reminds us that we’re not facing these challenges alone. We truly appreciate the dedication and heart they bring to their roles every day.Parent Review2mo ago6 Reviews - Grangerland Intermediate School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family moved from Klein ISD to Conroe ISD, with only our youngest son still in school. We hoped he would thrive, make friends, and enjoy the new environment, but his first year (2025-2026 term, 6th grade) has been deeply disappointing and challenging. The teachers assigned to him have been consistently rude and unprofessional, often complaining and contacting me during my work hours to report concerns about his behavior or academics. Although I recognize my son’s behavior isn’t always perfect, discouraging remarks from teachers—like “I’ve lost all hope in you” and “I can’t help you”—have only made matters worse. My son has a learning disability, is easily distracted, and finds loud environments overstimulating, but these needs have not been met with understanding or support. The classroom environment is harsh, with teachers raising their voices in response to misbehavior, increasing anxiety and discomfort. Bullying is a serious problem; my son has both witnessed and experienced students making inappropriate gestures and threats, including threats involving ICE. Though reports are filed, nothing seems to change or improve. Teachers rarely listen to students, dismissing my son’s attempts to explain himself. Even during the holidays, when we offered gifts to his teachers, we noticed a lack of appreciation. Our experience at Klein ISD was much more positive, and we miss the supportive environment there. The transition has been difficult for our entire family, leading us to seriously consider homeschooling. I’m unfamiliar with other local options and cannot recommend another school. Despite ongoing development in the area, the schools have not kept pace with improvement, and it may be several years before Conroe ISD reaches the quality found at Katy ISD.Parent Review4mo ago4 Reviews - Hope Elementary School

"New Caney has its safe places and it’s not so safe places. With a new development it has increasingly become more of a place that is safer rather than it used to be. New Caney has many different activities to do, but I will say that their schools may not be the best"

"We've lived in this neighborhood for 7 yrs and we love it. This is not the neighborhood for those that like cookie cutter style subdivisions with houses so close you can practically touch the next house from your window. Every house is unique, ranging from over $600k to as low as $75k, each with its' own unique style, whether it is awkward looking to traditional to beachy to contemporary or modern. Every house has at a minimum an acre or more, it is quiet, peaceful, like a getaway, yet close enough to the highway so quick access to everywhere else. The neighbors are all very nice, friendly, and don't twice about offering assistance. Seeing families walking, running, biking, rollerblading, golf carting, and ATVing throughout the day because it is safe. Whether passing in a car or on foot, everybody waves at each other. We are all racially diverse, every race and ethnicity represented, yet we are all the same that we like our community to remain small, our township government to stay small, and freedom to do what we want with our properties, whether it is to junk it up or keep it beautifully tighty. We want our "

"This is the greatest area closest to Houston for work! Traffic flow is great, even with construction on the 59/69 and Grand Parkway 99. I wouldn't live anywhere else...and I was born & raised in Houston, Tx off of Ella Blvd. & 610. I have seen it all! This area is the place to be!"

"I have lived in this area for 30 years and it DEFINATELY is not a poor area. There are sections in New Caney that are, however the Woodway Forest sub division is a great place to live. I have NEVER had any issues in this area and have NEVER been flooded. Just take a drive around the area and see for your self. You people shouldn't talk about what you don't know about! GIVE ME A BREAK!"
