Description

This home on 1.36 acres is the ultimate fixer upper. Every room in the house needs work. It will need some love. There are 3 bedrooms on the main level of the main house with 2 baths. The large living room was added in 1959. It’s south wall is all windows facing the back yard. And it is open layout through dining into the kitchen. The upstairs has a tight staircase but the room is very nice with a bath with shower. There is an octagonal house out back with one bedroom, full bath, kitchen/living, laundry and garage. The garage is connected by interior door to a 12x25 room with double steel doors to the east and a single steel door to the west out into the large fenced back yard. That space does not have a door leading into the main house but does connect with a very nice sidewalk through the back yard. There are 2 driveways. One on each side of the property. The east drive is access to the large screened room outside the master bedroom and the backhouse garage. The west driveway accesses the double carport and main entrance to the house. There is a brick fire pit in the front patio connected to the driveway. Out front the driveways are connected via nice wide concrete sidewalk. And the backs of each driveway are connected via nice wide sidewalk that goes around the back perimeter. All together it makes a loop around the property that is perfect for jogging, bicycling, pulling a wagon with the grandkids or just a leisurely stroll around. 5 1/2 times around is one mile! There are 3 water wells. The one in the front pumps out about 30 gallons per minute using a gas powered 2 inchpump. There is another near the patio on the west side and another out back. Those pump about 10 gallons per minute using the same pump. There are sprinklers in the back but still on city water. I usually just drag 2 inch hoses from the wells. More pictures and video to come. The video is a short walk from the screen room on the east side around the front to the west side. The window unit ac’s that you see in the video are not used anymore and will be removed as time permits. The main part of the house is heated and cooled with a central unit that was installed 5 years ago including all new ductwork. We are listening as selling by owner for now.
