"Responsible, mature dog owners that love people and pets! The norm is dogs leashed, under control of their owners and consistently cleaning up pet waste."
  • Brooke P.
"I’ve lived here for 10 years and the diversity and community is very special. I feel safe and everything is convenient. It is pet and child friendly and very close to the Metro."
  • Catherine B.
"I’m within 2 miles from my work but it takes 10 minutes to get there. The traffic is heavy at all hours of the day and people drive as if there is an emergency."
  • Brooke P.
"I use Metro and my commute is about an hour and a half to and from DuPont Circle door to door; the in and out from the parking garage at Weihle is the most frustrating."
  • j g
"very dog friendly area, lots of dog bags, mostly well behaved dogs. down side is no area off leash to run around"
  • Kim
"This area is generally very safe! The only issue is that the road on North Shore does not have street lights so when walking at night it’s very very dark here."
  • Karina.reyes46
"It’s ok. Just limited parking. They have spots labeled pool parking and you are not allowed to park there even when the pool is closed during the winter time. So you’re constantly having to park in front of other peoples homes. "
  • Xenia D.
"They'll love the trail. It's an open place to have dogs."
  • Lala K.
"Dog owners might not like the lack of space for dogs . But there is plenty of parks to walk to so they could get some exercise in."
  • Lala K.
"Gorgeous architecture, and plenty of stores and restaurants to explore."
  • Xenia D.
"It's beautiful -- I love the homes there."
  • Lala K.
"It can get a bit busy on the roads, however it is not always like that, so no need to get frustrated. It is just during rush hour that it gets busy."
  • Xenia D.
"It's safe for the people. Most other areas aren't safe, so you'll be able to walk with no problem."
  • Lala K.
"It is important to know that it is very safe! It is a great and affluent area to raise children. There are also plenty of kids around too, so they would sure make friends. The schools are supposed to be really great, and there are also private schools that they could attend. They also have programs at the schools that allow the kids to advance and succeed scholastically. You won't be disappointed with the schools, plus they offer way better lunches then the poorer counties."
  • Dasha d.
"Unique people, and it's a kind, safe place. Very enjoyable. And creative."
