Unlike what a different review had said about Duniway, as a student who had attended this school from 6th to 8th, I can definitely say that Duniway is an absolutely amazing school. The staff are extremely caring and passionate about what they do and ensure that students succeed academically and socially while they are in the school. Along with that, Duniway is extremely accepting of all ethnicities and works extremely hard to keep the school an inclusive and welcoming place. Additionally, the teachers who work here are genuinely some of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. From Mrs. Buhler (the outstanding 7th and 8th grade teacher) to Mr. Mix (an extraordinary 7th grade math teacher) to Mr. Dana (the music teacher for all of the school who is moving up to the high school this year), I can safely tell people that there are plenty of adults who are some of the best people I'll ever meet. Instead of just listening to adults who haven't actually been in the school for a chunk of their lives, try to listen more to the people who know the school like the back of their hands and can say word for word on how the school truly treated people (Sorry that first and last sentence were a bit of a personal hit for the person who rated Duniway 1 star).

A wonderful school. The staff are engaged with all the children and their families. They offer plenty of volunteer opportunities for parents to be engaged in their children's education as well.

I would say that for the most part the school is ok and the pathways they offer are good but I also would say that some of the teachers who I wont name are just there because they've been invested to much time and money into it that they just can't quit and you can really tell. but I will say the best teacher at that school is the film teacher Mr. Gray he is by far the best teacher iv ever had, he actually cares about his students and love teaching he is the only reason i whole heatedly would recommend the school.
