The administration's response was slow and inadequate, demonstrating a lack of empathy for the victim. The so-called "anti-bullying" policies were not enforced, allowing the aggressors to continue their harmful behavior without consequences. It's disheartening to see a school that claims to prioritize the well-being of its students fail so miserably in providing a safe and supportive environment!!!

If you have a special needs child that will attend this school you're definitely in good hands, they teach their students at the school about inclusion and to accept others differences. Also the teacher in special needs classroom is compassionate, kind and will be your child's biggest cheerleader, pushes your child academically in the best way possible. Also the paras are great too.

While the school, like other CUSD schools, offers special education options and communicates with parents for events or issues, there is rampant white on black racism ( nasty comments and microaggressions) from students and teachers. Be aware that your child may not be in an emotionally safe place!!
