7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei went to this school for 3 years and my experience was amazing apart from certain experiences. academically i strived and did amazing. scoring with most As and 1 or 2 Bs. With its sports and other activities the school is great to. I played volleyball for 2 years at the school and i looked forward to every game and every practice and dreaded the end to my seasons. the teachers that ive met are mostly very nice and helpful and try their best to help the student with whatever necessity they have. the student that i have met going to this school are amazing and im still in touch with some of them. being a muslim, person of color, bisexual female i have to say i felt very respected and never felt any hate against me. however, i was sexually harassed but it was way after school hours and no camera was there to catch anything. the people were students in my grade that i had an argument with but i chose not to report it and im sure if i had the school would do their best to help. sending your kids here is a good idea because they will find friends that will work for them and teachers that have dedicated themselves to education.Other Review2y ago - Ps 222 Katherine R Snyder

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children are going into 3rd and 5th grades. Every year they have had wonderful teachers who are effective, thorough, caring, kind and overall great! I'm very happy with the education they have received thus far. Even during the pandemic each teacher has worked hard to provide the best remote education possible to my children.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 1631 E 35th St.

"The commute is not great. You have to take a bus to the subway. The bus is on a very dependable schedule and the subway comes like clockwork. Time right it could be 1:25 foot to door. I take a cab to the train in the am ($12 ride) and the bus home (it’s always sitting outside the train). Definitely manageable."

"I lived here with my grandchildren. The local schools are AMAZNG...better than any private school i have seen. Due to so many of the first responders who live in the neighborhood it is very safe and family oriented. Close to marine park and snake park. Ideal place"

"Was originally looking in Cobble Hill Carroll Gardens area and even though its considerably more expensive i didnt get that same family feeling that Marine Park offered. So i rolled the dice and bought . I spent 1/3 the price, have twice the amount of land, im close to the beach, the park is amazing, my kids play with the other kids on the block instead of video games in the living room, strangers walk past you and say hello... i could probably go on for ever. I dont mind the few extra stops to Manhattan when i see how my family is enjoying living here. Love it!!!"
