Description

Living area: The house has 1000 SF of indoor living space - two bedrooms, a huge living room, kitchen, and new bathroom. There is expansive outdoor space all around. The living room has new tile flooring and the bathroom has been newly remodeled with new fixtures, lighting, paint and new bathtub/shower.

Laundry: We have a laundry area on site with a washer and drier.

Horse Facility: The house is part of a 3-acre horse facility. We currently we don't have any horses, but our ideal tenant would be a horse person (people) who want to keep their horses (or other animals) on site, and put this facility to good use. We have eight box stalls, a 100 ft x 180 ft arena and several fenced in pasture areas. We also have a barn and feed storage area.

Other amenities: The house is on a 25-acre property. It's on a hill side with amazing views of San Pasqual Valley. It includes botanic gardens and two miles of private trails. We have two swimming pools, an outdoor jacuzzi and a private tennis court. Use of these amenities can be included if desired. Our neighbors have approximately 100-acres of open space as well. So the area is very quiet and peaceful.

Location: We are on a country road in San Diego's Wine Country. We are 7 mile drive east of Rancho Bernardo, 8 mile dive north of Poway, 8 mile drive SE of Escondido and an 8 mile drive west of downtown Ramona. We are surrounded by orchards, nurseries, vineyards and wineries. The area is zoned for agriculture and minimum lot size is about 10 acres. This means that there is very little traffic on our beautiful country road.

Pricing: Rent listed is without any horses or animals. If you bring your horses or other animals, you would have use of the box stalls and the other areas of the horse facility, and we would propose the following pricing:

 - One horse: $130
 - Two horses: $120 each
 - Three or more horses: $110 each
 - Large dogs: $100 each
 - Small dogs: $75 each
- Cats: $75 each

12 month lease

No smoking or vaping
Good credit required (700 or better)

    "Everyone knows everyone. Teach your kids respect and kindness. It goes a long way! Since it’s not easy to get places. Most kids have motorized scooters or bikes. Please teach the safety like wearing a helmet and not cutting cars off or speeding with them. We don’t want them to get hurt!"

    "Family friendly, great neighbors! We get occasional visits from wild turkeys, peacocks, owls and perrogine falcons. We have a mated pair of hawks, that we have watched raise babies since 2009! In the spring we get migrating Monarchs and Moutain finches. You can see the milky way most nights. Lots of town events, like the Rodeo and Fair. Ramona has a community Halloween event, and most of the town trick or treats on main street. They have activities for the 4th of July and Christmas. There are easy hiking trails like the Grasslands and more difficult ones such as Mount Woodsen and everything in between. The only con is commuting for work, not a lot of traffic just the distance of you work in San Diego."
