6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had a good experience at Cooper with our two kids. They offer so many quality extracurriculars. ( sports, clubs, music). The teachers were always kind and encouraging towards our kids. There are some middle school situations, but it’s critical to teach your child to be nonreactive and walk gingerly in these situations. Avoidance is key. Also talking about friend choices is a good idea.Parent Review1mo ago - Edgar A Poe Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe counselors are amazing, but bullying is rampant at this school. The kids are pretty awful. They are awful to each other. Wearing orange once a month has had little impact on these kids; they need feedback for their bullying—but the school is terrible at addressing it.Parent Review2y ago - Buffalo Grove High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent school. My kids get a couple amazing teachers each year and maybe one lackluster teacher. The rest are quite good. They are safe, no bullying, amazing orchestra and coding classes. When I have had to talk to counselors or teachers because of an issue they have been very responsive. It's a nice size also, the kids have found great groups of friends and don't have a problem getting on the math team or leading other clubs. It is not super competitive, it's more supportive.Parent Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 1621 W Quail Ct #1.
