About this House

Cute newly renovated, clean, nicely Furnished Rural 2BR Apt perfect for Professional(s)/Grad. Students or small families, as it has been for past residents.

- Please note, we are Privately-held-owned and are not set up to do tours and/or showings prior to the email and phone interview process detailed below. We sincerely appreciate your help and understanding and no worries if this is not for you because of that.

Very nice, peaceful place to live, be career, grad student or family oriented. Residents generally renew and stay for long periods of time, because we value long term Tenants as opposed to turnover.

The newly renovated apartment is nicely furnished, approx 800 sq. ft., cute, so it offers solitude as needed, and is very clean.

Great sunsets, backyard views of woods, and lawn, while set high above distant views of Cayuga Lake. Nice appliances, w/Washer-Dryer in Unit.

Off Street parking for your vehicle. Rural, yet just out of town, and still close to campuses and shopping; 10 minutes to campus and nearby shopping; just off the Lake. On Rt. 34 bus line (Limited to AM/PM only). Friendly neighbors and the resident owner manager in the adjacent Farmhouse at 1583.

- $1450 monthly Rent (Plus $1000 security deposit), plus Utilities utilities, w/No smoking allowed inside unit.
- Pet / additional cleaning deposit will be required.
- Lease from June1, 2025 through May 31, 2025 with mutual option to renew until 05/31/2026 at the same rate (IE., No Rate Increase).
- Mowing and snow removal provided by owner.

- We also have a second newly renovated unfurnished duplicate Apartment in the same home (1608 of the Duplex) that rents for $1295 plus Utilities (and $1000 Security Deposit), that you can see pictures showing unfurnished rooms at the bottom of this Ad (And after the ones for 1610).

We sincerely and respectfully ask you to please send a short personal note of interest for the opening, referencing yourself, recent employment (or Academic), credit scores and rental history just as you do with a Realtor, Apartment Complex or for a job opening. (IE., what you do and any additional information that you feel will be helpful in the interview and "background and credit check process).

- Since we do not do formal paper applications or tours (we do use Zillow Abbreviated Aps), please include some type of proof of who you are (Link/FB or redacted resume) etc., and we will respond in kind with our references". (Again very similar to what you do with a Realtor or Apartment Complex or job opening).

- Also, please no phone calls, and do not show up without an appointment, email us as a 1st step. We promise to quickly respond if you follow our process and again we sincerely hope you understand

We assure you that everyone goes through the same vetting process, and that their Employer has done a thorough Background Check as part of their employment package, including ourselves. In addition, we're hopeful that if the roles were reversed, and we were interviewing for an opening for your apartment, you'd want to do the same:)

The next steps, after you reply with the above requested info by email, is where we will send our references, answer your questions, and then schedule phone interview, and when that goes well, find a suitable date that works for both of us for a showing and hopefully an agreement on a lease and put the deposit down.

Thank you very much for your time!

  • Paul
"It is a very easy commute to downtown. Slightly more to the colleges. I consider commutes under 15 minutes to be easy though. I know Ithacans complain about traffic at the ā€œoctopusā€, but that’s only because most of them have never seen traffic."
  • David W.
"Amazing location! I walk 10 blocks to work. Gimme Coffee is on the way. Historic Northside Triangle is the place to be!"
  • Dani932
"The apartments aren't upgraded for the amount you pay on a one-bedroom. The area is quiet and l haven't had any issues living here."

"Semi-rural atmosphere. Lots of walking paths and hiking trails in the area. Our area of Dryden is in the Ithaca School District, whisky is very good."
  • Trulia User
"Beautiful, nice view. The community is looking forward to sidewalks that will help the area become more navigating. The community is nice but not as inviting as some may like."
  • Latoya Peterson
"Landlords don’t except Section 8 assistants. Good luck getting your security deposit back!?! Slum lords own most property here unfortunately."
  • Trulia User
"Access to public transportation a plus. They need to work on installing shoulders on west king road. Commuting is easy"
  • Paul
"I've lived in the area for 13 years. I've lived in Northeast Ithaca specifically for 5 years. Northeast Ithaca is very competitive as far as buying a home. The people are great and Northeast Elementary including the Ithaca City School District is beyond amazing. Northeast Ithaca is close to Cornell University. There are many reasons why homes in in Northeast Ithaca are in high demand."
  • Littlespoon1970
