Description

Affordable Home with Charming covered front porch within walking distance to Crowe Park and with many updates in last several years. 3* bedrooms and 2 full baths. Kitchen appliances included. Wood floors in living room & 2nd and 3rd bedrooms - seller says wood under carpet in front bedroom with carpet as well. Back/3rd bedroom has full bath suite with potential for larger closet or dressing area. Updates have included a new electrical panel and some wiring upgrades, some plumbing upgrades, water heater and natural gas wall furnaces. There is an old oil furnace that isn't being used that could potentially be used if buyer had checked out and switched back over if still working properly. Also, if zoning permits, the back bedroom suite could be a separate rental unit making this a duplex as it has a separate kitchen off the bed & bath in what could be the dressing area. This could serve as a mini-kitchenette if desired with a private rear entry already in place. (*2 bedrooms don't have closets)

  • Davidlenbest
"The name of this neighborhood is Forest Hills South, has well over 100 homes and has been around for30 years. The developers sold the lots and disappeared. There is no maintenance of the undeveloped property or entrances to the subdivision. Most of the homes are very nice and occupied and well kept. We are inside the city limits of Rutherfordton but do not receive much more than trash collection. No sewer, only septic tanks street lights are sparse."
  • Linda O.
