My daughter went to this school for 4th and 5th grade. We moved here in the middle of 4th grade from Illinois and the staff were great helping her out her first few weeks there. The principal is awesome and involved in everything.

LOLC is in a small town in Texas. There are many kids on welfare here. Kindergarten wasn't normal for my grandson, James. He had to home school much of last year due to Covid-19. I believe it put a lot of our kids at a lower rate of knowledge than usual because the schools all over America were not prepared for such a situation as a pandemic. Learning how to teach our own kids the curriculum was difficult at best. But so far, we are at the best part of the situation and trying hard to get back on track. LOLC did a very good job during the trying times and we definitely deserve an A for effort. We would recommend our school to anyone and everyone.

All this school cares about is sports. They spend all their money for sports related activities and the rest of the activities get put on the back burner. Even parents either kids in sports say the are privy to certain kids playing etc based on their parents. My child is not athletic, but is smart and woukd have liked to see more activities and clubs to challenge him. They won't even let non athletes participate in thr bonfire. They let the band kids I believe, I'm sure because that would have looked extremely bad. I wish I would have moved or sent my son to a private school in Corpus. Because this place is just awful and I can't wait till my child is done and we can move away from this horrible tourist trap.

This is an amazing middle school my daughter loves everyone that is there. All the teachers are amazing and understanding, and the school nurse is to. Thank you!
