"It’s a safe environment. Lots parks and playgrounds for children. Overall it’s usually quiet. Some people have outdoor dogs that bark throughout the night "
  • Liza Mahen
"Congested with traffic, no green spaces. Too many multi family homes such as condos, townhomes, apartments etc. No privacy. High real estate prices for reasons unknown. "
  • Rebecca Williams
"Most people have dogs in this neighborhood and for a small neighborhood, we have a very large dog park that is helpful for dogs to have a place to play. "
  • Jenny Wilson
"Quick access to 75 or Cobb Parkway. A lot of routes that can be taken to avoid traffic in certain areas"
  • Rebecca Williams
"This is a wonderful community for families. Safe, well-kept, and plenty of family friendly activities nearby, but easy access to the city. "
  • Jenny Wilson
"Walkability, growth, family friendly amenities, variety of parks, great restaurants "
  • Trent.o.jones89
"Smyrna birthday celebration is an amazing family fun packed events with lots of things for all ages and every Tuesday during the summer they have a food truck festival at the park which brings delicious eats every week amazing parks and everything u could want for entertainment "
  • Stacey Kent
"Even tho it’s so close to Buckhead and Atlanta city limits it seems amazingly different and quiet. There is a lot of expensive homes but there is an obvious area of pretty nice starter homes. Not enough of private high-end restaurants or places to hang out as an over 30 to 40 professional. A little night life or places to meet other people or find new friends. One very small little live - walk - play environment. Other than across the interstate at the baseball park. We need more on the S. Atlanta Rd. side !! "
  • Jrosas450
"Very commutable and not too traffic congested. Would recommend getting a car to get around Smyrna and getting to know around "
  • Tina Ramsey
"Great area however it’s a little congested and slightly over priced along with schools for kids are not in walk distance if kids needed too"
  • Jcarroll82
"Best place to live with children and if you are retired. People are friendly and helpful. I have lived in the area for 19 years."
  • Yvonne_o
"It is a safe area and near some good schools. There is convenient access to the silver comet trail. "
  • Elizabeth Alvarez
"Great quiet area. All for seasons. Dog parks and walking trails all over. Great to start a nice and new comfortable start. "
  • Nolin J Horton
"We have multiple entertainment spaces within walking distance. Restaurants, movie theater, storage facilities, etc. "
  • Shameekasnow
"Small and quiet during the day and night. My neighbor look out for each other. The community is close to parks for kids. "
  • Stacey Kent
"There are events at Smyrna Village, which I think is over by the courthouse. I think there’s a festival but there’s just not much marketing to let other people know whats going on. I’m not part of a family, because Smyrna is still somewhat a safe area…. They really need to develop this area more towards people that are law following individuals that want to move out of Buckhead. "
  • maryecoons
"both our neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods are very dog friendly. We have Dog meet up and everyone help take care of the dogs."
  • Gz7sc7pdyv
"I just moved to the area and it is great I love my home and neighborhood and the restaurants are great as well as the people "
  • Trulia User
"Safe for kids. Clean area. No issues. Schools are ok. Grocery stores close. Parks are close. Shopping is close. "
  • Trulia User
"A car is necessary but it has close access to Canton Road in order to reach highway 75. Also close by other areas for shopping and restaurants"
  • Trulia User
"Near the battery. Clean and safe. Traffic is a big problem near schools. Lots of construction in the way."
  • Trulia User
"The dog park for big dogs needs work on the ground, fence and gate. it has a hill in the middle with a bench on top but needs a 2nd bench at the bottom of the hill for Seniors to use."
  • Trulia User
"Great access to public transportation, downtown, the battery, and many things to do! It is a very safe neighborhood and the maintenance and management take care of the complex. Everybody minds their own business which is great! "
  • Trulia User
"I don’t know - i think it’s important for parents to know the schools that are in the area, restaurants in the area etc "
  • Greg D.
"A 30 minute ride across the north arc of 285 over to Tucker before seven traffics not so bad yeah afternoons do you get congested"

  • Arkina G.
"Bus stop is in front of my neighborhood. Very convenient after a long day. Not long to travel to your front door"
  • Savvyajai
"This is a very dog friendly subdivision. The HOA recently added a Dog walk this past summer 2020, with waste receptacles. Pet owners keep their dogs leashed and inside, and rarely do you hear dogs barking."
  • Kimberly T.
"Space to walk their pet as well as opportunities to meet other pet owners. There is not an abundance of green space but just enough to walk and play. There is also several parks around that one could take advantage of."
