"There is no open space to exercise a big dog. Dog park? Forget that. Recently Oceanside, on Peacock Rd, covered over grass in the median and replaced it with gravel. The one nice place to walk is now gone. "
  • Jeff Nedelman
"This is not a place for big dogs. I have a Golden. There is nothing open space to run. Older residents rant at us. "
  • Lauren Mroz
"The neighborhood looks out for one another, very conveniently located by the shopping center and train. "
  • Lauren Mroz
"What makes our neighborhood unique is having shops (grocery, retail, nails, hair, gym, ymca, hiking trails), the train that takes you into downtown Oceanside to downtown San Diego, great local gems, Enzo’s, draft all within walking distance. "
  • Lauren Mroz
"This is a dog friendly neighborhood. You see a lot of people walking loops around and are courteous to most of the time pick up after their pups. "

"Its a good neighborhood by the ocean very social and well maintained. It also has very nice shops around it and good restaurants."
  • Maura O.
"Traffic... other dogs barking. Not too many parks. Not too much shade for paws. Smaller yards. Don’t know what else to write to meet 100 characters. "
  • Amanda F.
"Very walkable neighborhood. People are wonderful. We’ve been here 11 years and enjoy the area Although, the area is becoming very dense. Lots of new construction. I don’t know how it will be in the next 11 years and we don’t want to find out"
  • Abby J.
"I hate the drive anywhere, but it’s not location. It’s the traffic. Good location. Close to the grocery, various restaurants, gyms, nail salons, doctors offices, vets, you name it. "
