3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wouldn't recommend sending your child to this school. This school poses as a technology school, but there is very little to offer in the technology field. The administration tries to make this school look like a correctional facility. The administration also struggles with organization. The middle school dean has a bad attitude and disrespects students to the fullest, ironically wanting the same respect back. The uniform policy is more important than grades, as students will be pulled out of class for such a small offence. If you have a laundry day during the weekdays, your Many teachers don't care about the uniform policy. Some of the administration are petty. If your student is 1 to 2 minutes late, they will get a detention. There aren't many electives that would make students interested, or electives based on the technology field. Some core classes are reused as electives. There aren't many trips for high schoolers to get them outside or keep them interested. Some teachers would want you to succeed, while others want you to get confused or make policies that aren't logical. Some teachers may start arguments with students because the student is correct about a topic. High school students are treated like elementary schoolers If you don't have any connections at this school, you will end up alone for 4 years. It messes with your brain. The transition from 11th grade to 12th grade English is like going into a college prep class you didn't ask for. Some rooms in the school receive too much air conditioning, while others receive no Air Conditioning. If you don't want to be in an integrated middle and high school, don't apply to this school. The only perk to the new scheduling system is the early dismissal. (Previously 3:34PM) If you live far, don't send your child to this school or choose this school It's not worth the trip. Trying to transition to classes is a struggle since traffic is horrendously slow. The hallway is narrow, making this fact worse. If you or your student is into sports, this school doesn't take it seriously. This school has the budget for their students but doesn't spend it on them Activities are mediocre. This school doesn't trust its students.pros for the school. many transportation options for this school. The neighborhood is generally safe. many stores around the neighborhood.School is in its own building Outdoor track.Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 156 W 228th St #W7.
