About this House

New large Executive Apartment established in a garden setting on 1.5 acres with owner and other tenants on property also year round. All within the city limits of Highlands, NC in a highly desired neighborhood near Mirror Lake. Waterfalls and trails nearby.

This apartment has a large attached porch for viewing the stream and wildlife. Wildlife such as bear, deer, fox, raccoon and small wildcats frequent the property year round. Interior is beautifully furnished and includes a washer and dryer. All expenses are included in the monthly lease fee including electric, cable, WiFi, trash pick up, etc.

One mile from the downtown Highlands with fine dining, French certified spa and luxury shopping. The town is frequently recognized in the travel magazines and Southern Living.

Rate of $2000/month is for at least a 6 month rental/lease duration. Less rental/lease duration may result in a higher cost depending on the season and demand. Apartment is currently available starting November 1, 2025. .

The monthly rental cost of $2000 for the large Executive apartment includes electric, water, sewage, trash pick up and basic internet/WIFI/cable usage and requires a long term lease. A short term rental is a minimal of one (1) month and the rate goes up to $3000/month. Six (6) month or greater lease duration is the $2000 monthly rate. The large Executive Apartment is available after November 1, 2025.

On the property also is the owner, an Airbnb rental and another smaller Apartment.

A small dog is allowed but the following breeds are prohibited by my homeowners insurance policy: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow, Doberman Pincher, Pit Bull, German Sheperd, Presa Casario, Rottweiler, Wolf Hybrids, or any dog that is a mix that includes one of more of these breeds. No exceptions allowed.

Smokers may smoke outside on the porch but never in the apartment interior. Candles are not allowed due to fire hazards.

Everyone on the property is required by the City of Highlands to observe a quiet time after 10 pm until 8 am. Numerous social sitting areas are located throughout the property and are common for use by all residence. Decks, grills, outside fire pits and the beautiful stream in the backyard is for everyone's enjoyment. Tuesday evenings in the summer is a wine social hosted by the owner.

Designated parking is provided. No illegal materials are ever allowed on the property at any time.
