7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Principle at this school is terrible at comunnicatin to parents any issues that my occur.The classes are over populated giving the teachers a larger challenge than ever to maintain control over the children.Some of the teachers do not comunicate problems that may occur in the class room until weeks after it has happened, giving the illusion that everything is fine.Some teachers are over whelmed by the over population that the children are not getting the education that they should be getting.When asked why this is happening, the principle indicated that the budget will not allow them to hire help.He would not even ask for help from the parents to help maintain control in the class rooms.Over all the leadership and some of the teachers will not admit that they need more help in these over populated class rooms instead they place the blame on the children for not behaving properly.Parent Review15y ago - Westerly Middle School

It is indeed both frustrating and sad that we have one of the worst school systems in Rhode Island. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFights all the time, the kids are crazy and violent. Fights after school or during school. I got hit or robbed by groups of kids that are always angry almost weekly. Be tough if you have to go here. Also drugs are a problemStudent Review5mo ago
