3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is horrible. There has been multiple instances of students having loaded guns on campus. They need metal detectors at this point. They also do nothing about bullying. My son recorded incidents and told staff and nothing was done. They brushed it off and sent him back to class. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI absolutely love this school. 4 of my kids have been to this school and I’ve seen it grow and develop. My oldest is on his way to High School this year.The school takes parental concerns seriously, addresses any issues and complaints in a timely manner and most importantly the safety of everyone is one at the top of the list. This past school year they implemented valet parking to facilitate the drop off of students and ensure safety so there is no need to cross the street.The teachers are great and keep me informed of my children’s behavior and progress. My children have never complained about their teachers. My youngest finished TK here at Gardena Elementary and is moving on to kindergarten so I still have 6 school years to go and I strongly recommend and support this school.Parent Review1y ago - Gardena Senior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis review is long overdue. My daughter graduated from Gardena High School in 2007, back then the school was great, she had an amazing 4 year run. Not sure how it is now, as I have no school age children :) After graduating my daughter went on to Tuskegee University, got her BSN at age 20, continued her studies and received her Masters Degree. She is a ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner), AIRBNB Owner, Private School Owner and Real Estate owner. Gardena High was definitely part of her success and journey. She met so many friends at Gardena and to this day they are still very close professional friends. Kudos to Gardena High :)Parent Review4mo ago
