I was a recent student at MacArthur and while the school has potential it’s held back due to the lack of funding, understaffed and underpaid teachers, and many troubled students who have serious mental health problems. The drug gang cliques are very common and the some of the fights I witnessed looked liked the kids were trying to kill each other at times.

My younger sibling went to this school from kindergarten to second grade and had a horrible experience. The school doesn't take bullying seriously. There were multiple occasions where my younger sibling was bullied, not just emotionally but also physically. It's outraging. The teachers participate in bullying as well. The principal doesn't support students. When my sibling spoke up about a teacher bullying them, the principal screamed at them and moved them to another class. The principal should be ashamed of herself. I don't recommend this school whatsoever. I'm so glad my sibling is moving.

Bradley is a GREAT school. My grandson is having the best middle school experience. He loves school and has had the best experience from riding the bus, to learning in the classroom to extra curricular activities - specifically the coaches and sports. Middle school is not always the best experience for pre teens. Bradley staff works hard to make it a fun and positive experience. Way to go BEARS!
