We are looking to rent our bright, historic, and lovingly restored family home. Large bedrooms and an office with a walk out deck overlooking a huge backyard with a new patio, fig, lemon, and plum trees, and a play area for kids.

Original hardwood floors recently refinished, brand new temperature control throughout the entire house for perfect comfort on the hottest or coldest days with solar panels to offset energy costs. Ethernet has been run throughout the house for fast internet from any room, so this is perfect for people working from home requiring excellent connections.

The kitchen is the jewel of the home, completely renovated when we moved in to be loved by us -- not just a flipper's update. The house is on a double lot, plenty of room for a family to grow in. One attached in-law unit is downstairs, including its own kitchen, bath, and laundry. The house will be delivered unfurnished.

Your neighbors are wonderful, helpful, friendly families with kids of varying ages. The area is safe and quiet, quick walks to cafes a couple blocks away, and very short strolls to tot parks for the little ones and Grove Park or San Pablo Park for more amenities like basketball or tennis. It's also a very quick 5-minute drive to Berkeley Bowl and other essentials like Whole Foods are very close.
