"Judgy neighbors who don’t like dogs are rude to respectful dog owners. Don’t move here if you love your dog"
    • Trulia User
"Mostly quiet but people I’ve met have been friendly! I generally feel safe walking to nearby food and coffee, and enjoy it here."
    • Nancy B.
"I dont like when there dog go potty and they don't pick it up.I don't thank its right for other people to walk in it."
    • Miranda P.
"I normally drive or ride my bike but there is public transit available for the area for people to use. "
    • Hannibal M.
"There are a lot of families living in the area and we’ll often see parents going on walks with their kids around the neighborhood. There’s a dog park nearby for the family pets. "
    • Trulia User
"The Farmers Market, Dog park. Hospitals near by, College near by. Lot of foot traffic which has changed a lot in the 19 or so years that we’ve lived here. "
    • Heather D
"Super easy being between 2 exits and close to all major highways. It takes about 5 minutes to get on the highway "
    • a resident.
"There is a lot of traffic. The speed limit is 25, most vehicles aren doing a minimum of 35mph. There are a lot of bars in the area, it’s pretty much drunk people 24/7 around here. Not recommended if you have kids. "
    • Margaret L.
"There’s a dog park off of Fuller. Quick walk, about 5-15 minutes away (depending on where you live)."
    • Kenzie M.
"I love and know all the people in my house. I love thst Martha’s Vineyard is a close walk and Martha’s pizza is the best pizza. There are cafes right around the corner. Running outside here is awesome downtown is a short run away and the houses in heritage hill are amazing to run by."
    • Kelly_medendorp
"I have lived here for 2 years now and enjoy it very much. I feel semi safe but still wouldn't walk the streets at night. "
    • Stephanie C.
"it's a nice place with a wide variety of people. food and other things are closer by. it's close to downtown, which is nice"
    • Cummingssarah66
"Every block feels different. In general as you go further south east of Michigan street the houses start to look more like mansions and the area becomes more upper middle class residential. I like that you can still walk to Walgreens or Martha’s Vineyard and feel safe no matter the time of day. "
    • Stephanie C.
"great neighborhood. it's close to downtown, without the hustle and bustle. there are some lovely and unique restaurants and coffee shops. the best part is, it is pretty quiet despite it's location"
    • Patphonic
"Convenient but noisy. Parking and traffic on the weekends can make things difficult. The quality of restaurants in the area could be better. "
    • Alex B.
"Very diverse ethnically, rich history, but new developing businesses. Our family takes walks regularly and always feel safe. We are greeted by waves and smiles and the drivers are very mindful of the kids too. We love it here. "
