6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at DeLong from k-5th grade (1996-2001) I looooved my school and still do now. I am 19 and going to college at the University of Washington to become a teacher. I truly believe DeLong helped me become the person I am today and I am so grateful for all of my teachers. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI agree with what the previous replies here have to say. The teachers are very kind and genuine people, and you can tell that they love what they do. My personal problem lies with the counselors. They do not reply to emails at all. And even if they do, expect a one-week gap. You could email them the most important and urgent thing ever, but they still wouldn't bat an eye. This is extremely annoying to me as it feels like I do not have a genuine support system that I can go to in the case I need help with anything. In simple terms, they are completely unreliable counselors. I hope they get replaced with people who are actually good at their jobs and are willing to provide real support to students instead of passing everything by.Student Review6mo ago - Wainwright
