The teachers here slack they are lazy and don’t care if the kids learn something before moving on especially the special needs program, I brought my kids here from sachem district and my kids were exceling there and here they took 5 steps back when they first got here the learning is behind other districts I’m moving my kids out at the end of the school year I try and engage with teachers and they don’t engage they ignore my efforts and if my child asks for help they tell her she should know this by now and they ignore her afterwards and tell her to sit down if the child wants to learn don’t discourage them these teachers are lazy they coudnt get accepted in any other district so landing a job here is what they got but sucks for the kids who have to have them as educators if you can even call them educators

I give this school an excellent rating! My son has been in this school since 6th grade. He is now a couple months into the 7th grade. He loves going to school. The teachers are very helpful and interesting. They have an awesome no-bully policy.....and encourage the students to embrace each other's diversity. My son did well on the state exams and I believe it has a mostly to do with the teachers and their commitment to making sure each student is taught and encouraged to excellent to the best of their ability. No doubt my son has had some tough teachers who do not tolerate substandard work and bad study habits from my son. Thank you to all those teachers who have taught my son and brought his performance up to the level it needs to be. You are very special teachers and we owe you so much for your sacrifice and dedication. I believe my son will be well prepared for high school and college. Thank you also, to the principals and administrators who run the best school on Long Island.
