This home is a 2 story, with a glass dash exterior. Base color is gray with multi colored glass particles embedded. This was a typical exterior covering in the 1950's and is very weather tight.

The front entrance is through an enclosed porch. From there you will find a unique floor plan. The main level has original hardwood flooring featuring 2 bed rooms separated be the bath. The other half is the kitchen, featuring a gas stove, 2 door fridge, lots of counter space and more cabinets than you can use. A large family room finishes off the rest. It features a Franklin stove and a spiral staircase. The second level features a large bedroom, a smaller bedroom, and an open loft overlooking the first floor.
(FYI
The staircase is very different. This is what gives the interior it's charm, but folks either love it or they hate it. It can be the reason someone wants to rent, or the reason someone does not want to rent. Some families with small children have no problem with it, while others they think it is dangerous.)
There is a small 1 car garage, and a decent sized somewhat secluded back yard. The driveway can park up to 4 cars, but in line, not side by side.
The basement is dry, and has a vanity and toilet in the utility area. There is a bar, and an area that could be used for entertaining if a tenant did some creative decorating.

This house lease is for a minimum of 1 year, then reverts to a month to month tenancy. As a landlord, I am looking for a family who will care for this home as if it were their own. Clean, responsible tenants who take pride in their home, pay rent when due and get along with their neighbors. Is this you?
While I might accept a small dog, with the appropriate pet fee paid, I will not accept cats.

    " I've lived in the area most of my life, hope to retire to Peru. I only wish the city fathers would take pedestrians and bicycles into account. Not many sidewalks, NO bike paths, and pets are not allowed in parks, except for the Dog Park, which is just a small fenced in area. If you want to walk to the mall or shopping area, you are putting your life in the hands of hurried drivers. It is nearly impossible to cross Rt. 251. On the good side, you could live your entire life here and never have to leave town. It really is a full service community, you just have to use your car to get around."
