4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOk so Clay Chalkville Middle is a great and bad school. The good thing is they have some good teachers but not all of them but it's alot of new teachers this year . But the bad thing is the food is nasty and the 6th grade and 7th grade principals are extra and they do alot they got rats at the school and roaches and they all ways got fights happending. Also the head principal is extra too they all do too much !Student Review1y ago - Clay Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child currently goes to Clay Elementary and we have had a lot of concerns with my child’s safety and overall lack of communication from the school as a whole. There are no real security measures in place protecting the kids from anyone being able to easily enter the front entrance of the school. All main foot traffic, the gym, and cafeteria is housed in the main building while the primary building is in a separate building; requiring all of the youngest children of the school to exit and enter through several doors and walk the furthest to make it to and from their classrooms. Substitute bus drivers come and go without any notice. There is no defined or established route of communication and some information is only shared via certain routes. I have to constantly monitor the school fb page, the PTA fb page, my teacher’s app, my email, my child’s paper communication folders, and my phone voice messaging to piece together everything in hopes I won’t miss events, dress up days, field trips, fund raisers.. etc. I have expressed my concerns and frustrations with lack of communication without response or follow up from the administration. I am considering several life changing options to be able to place my child in another school as soon as possible.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 152 Twin Lakes Rd.

"There are decent sized yards for dogs. The homes are also large enough for a dog. If you're not very fit - there are LOTS OF STEEP HILLS that would make it difficult to walk your dog."

"This is a safe area to live in. The schools are modern and highly rated! There are many subdivisions and diverse areas to live and choose from. The lack of apartment living is a plus to keep this city a home owner low transit community. "
