NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started Kindergarten at KCS this year and so far it has been a great experience. They are very organized and the teacher-parent communication is very good. My anxiety about my son starting school (with no pre-school) quickly went away after attending their parent meeting and open house. I may change my review later, but right now this appears to be a great school.Parent Review9y ago3 Reviews - Killingly High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall a terrible public school the only part that is redeemable is the agricultural program. The rest of the school is a waste of money and time. Also rejected a federal grant for mental health for students TWICE ( majority of students wanted it and they still rejected it).Other Review2y ago7 Reviews - Killingly Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE I HATE IT the work BORING OVERUSED STRECHED OUT FOR MONTHS the people like FIVE people are good people everybody else i either dont know or dont acknowledge the rest just have beef with me for pretty much no reason the restrictions HORRENDUS theres like FOUR usable sites and the teachers have the option to just disable/block them and since theres so little sites we cant do much during free time now the rules? LOL theres so many unneeded rules like no hoods and no fighting back i could literary get jumped by 6 people and still get detention "for punching someone" WHAT DID YOU WANT ME TO DO JUST TAKE IT the thing is THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED IN 5TH GRADE and they try to hide the impending doom by calling it "in school suspension" id much rather be suspended normally and go home than sit at a desk with little to nothing to do besides work and if theres no work to do? you just sit there but oh i need the bathroom "you know the rules 1 break per 2 hours unless medically necessary" ok i get the medically necessary but they limit you to 3 minutes for each break if you go past the limit you get yelled at so basically this school sucks and can have very unfair momentsStudent Review2mo ago2 Reviews - Killingly Memorial School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are a parent, please read.I was an active, involved parent—attending meetings, participating in my child’s support services, and consistently present in his education and well-being. There were no court orders or restrictions limiting my parental rights.Despite that, my child was removed from Killingly Memorial School and placed elsewhere without my knowledge, without my consent, and without any direct communication to me.I did not receive a call, email, or notice of any kind.I discovered this by showing up during lunch to surprise my son—with his baby sister and his favorite treat, a Dunkin’ Donut, trying to brighten his day—only to be told he was no longer enrolled and asked to leave the property. When I asked where my child had been placed and what had happened, I was told that the other parent had the right to discharge him and that no further information would be provided to me. I was not told where my child had been transferred. As a result, I had to call multiple schools myself just to locate where my child had been placed.I then reached out to the superintendent, the principal, and the vice principal seeking answers and clarification. I did not receive a response from any of them.No parent should ever have to find out their child has been transferred this way or be left to locate their child’s school on their own. This experience reflects a serious breakdown in communication and inclusion of an actively involved parent in a major educational decision.Equal parental rights should not result in one parent being completely excluded from knowing where their child is.Parent Review3w ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 151 Broad St #B.

"Quiet safe neighborhood with a healthy mix of respectful residents. 16 years after moving in we have seen families stop an grow here. Very recommended neighborhood. A lot of houses have been remodeled and had amenities upgraded. "

"I've lived here for 25 years and there have been a lot of changes but mostly people tend to keep to themselves and it's a very residential area."

"We have lived in the Danielson area for the past 25 years. This is a nice quiet area great for raising children! More of a suburb than a city. There are many local shops & restaurants available here as well as in the surrounding towns which are close and easy to reach. Dayville & Plainfield both nearby have great parks for children. Nature walks and parks can be found here in Danielson as well as most of the surrounding towns."
