My experience here has been excellent. I have never met with resistance only cooperation and compassionate caring when dealing with issues concerning my child. The class sizes are small allowing for individual attention to issues. There is great collaboration among primary and secondary teachers, along with other providers. I feel very fortunate to have access to this school for my children.

Green Mountain Union High School has a 7th - 8th grade middle school. I would not recommend this school for kids who are intellectually advanced or sensitive in any way. The administration enables teachers to avoid good classroom management by allowing them to send kids from the classroom without just cause. The discipline approach is punitive and harsh. Teachers have very little understanding of adolescent development and the kids suffer for it. They keep talking about improvement but there is little evidence of it so far.
