9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely horrible school that rushes through classes and tests do not represent the material taught. Trying to teach algebra 2 in 6 months is an absolute joke. A lot of money is spent on select sports and advanced teams but the rest of the kids get what’s left over. If this one of the top schools in the area then that is a huge problemParent Review1y ago26 Reviews - Bluebonnet Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended this school for 4th grade in 2021 and i arrived partly through the school year because my parents got a divorce so this was already a hard time for me, and the school didn't make it much better they never helped me specifically to catch me up with things i hadn't learned yet in my old school that they had already learned and would be mad at me when i didn't know what they were talking about and it was very emotionally hard on me. In my previous school, i was in the EXPO/Gifted and Talented program because i was ahead in my learning. When i tried out for this school they flat out told me that i wasn't smart enough. Imagine a 10 year old who was just told they weren't smart enough. Awful right? Anyways in my math class i can't remember my teacher's name but i know it started with a B, but unfortunately she was my homeroom teacher also. She was awful to me most of the time especially in math. Anyways from my previous school we were just starting multiplication and when i arrived at this school they were just finishing multiplication so they were on the twelves so i didn't know anything except my 1's and 2's. This teacher constantly put me on the spot and called on me when i obviously didn't know the answer and when i would try to tell her i didn't know or try to count it out on my fingers she would yell at me and tell me i should know this. Also one time when i was taking the reading STAAR test i finished early because in elementary school i excelled in that class, i went to give the packet to her (it was on paper still then) i was the first one done and she told me to go sit back down and to go over my work and actually finish the test... i was baffled, she didn't let me turn it in until i "looked over it" because according to her i wasn't done. ALSO i had a brother in like KINDERGARTEN and this was the first ear that we rode the bus home and he forgot so he tried to go car-line and me and my mom DID NOT GET ONE CALL FROM THE SCHOOL so we drove there and sure enough he was sitting in the office they didn't even think to call us he was in KINDERGARTEN. So overall i don't think you should go to this school because the staff here are rude to CHILDREN and i recommend really looking at reviews when your looking for a good school because that school was awful for me.Other Review5mo ago14 Reviews - Shadow Ridge Middle School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school may be praised and praised for it's academic achievement in its students, but really, we should also be talking about the morale there. Don't get me wrong, I love that place! I just look around and see other schools getting to do all of these fun activities and events at their school, while we just sit around, stuck with work. It's important to have a good education, I get that, but having fun while you're still a kid is also extremely important.Student Review4y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 1505 Gerault Rd.

"You see people walking their dogs all the time. it is a nice area with a lot of walking paths and areas for dogs. There are designated back areas throughout the pathways. The locations are safe, and everyone walks with a leash which brings an added comfort."

"If you live near a school, be prepared to have the school parents take over the street. Gotta say, a huge chunk of them are not mindful of the people who live there, which is totally rude. In order to get out of the neighborhood, you will need to add in an extra 20 minutes if your time coincides with the school’s drop off or pick-up times along with the 20 mph zone. Bring a snack or cup of coffee. Some neighborhoods have few ways in and out of the area. Know your alternative routes to leave. "
