"Elberta is a wonderful city. The education is amazing. I have 2 daughters. Both the Elementary and Middle School are amazing. Only the thing about Elberta is if you find yourself homeless there is no help. I know I have been homeless for over 5 months. With my children. There are no low income places available."
  • Vanessa H.
"friendly people. lots of countryside and farms. only 30 minutes to beautiful beaches. near NAS NAS Pensacola so can go watch the Blue Angels practice and buzz the beaches. Lots of things to do for the family "
  • Aschmitt0725
"It takes about 30 minutes to get everywhere but the roads are all nice and well maintained. The countryside is beautiful. "
  • Vanessa H.
"Antibiotic free local Angus beef, locally made cheese from Jersey cows, copy of Stonehenge and full size dinosaurs at Barber Marina and let bushwhackers and burgers while your dog can run on the beach at Pirates Cove Only 30 minutes to the Gulf and 35 to NAS Pensacola to see the Blue Angels practice "
  • Gigi P
"Elberta doesn’t have leash laws as long as the dog comes as you call it. It can be challenging for people who might have on edge dogs, otherwise not too bad. Dog park is technically in foley but less than ten minutes away since it is so near our town. Lots of off streets to walk them so you don’t have to go on busy roads."
  • Amy J.
"Neighborhood watch, families often walking dogs, everyone seems friendly. We all get together to discuss any issues."
  • tracir06
"This area is great for raising children in a quiet, safe place. This area is beautiful with wonderful wolf bay in walking distance with a boat ramp. My daughter lives here and I could not have chose a better place for my grandaughter to be raised. "
  • Robert D.
"Like the area for it's decent proximity to the Gulf. Protected slippage in some areas. Deep water. Quiet neighborhood, but a bit far by car to shopping and such. This home was on the market for some time and appears to be a fairly decent deal for the buyer. I too am looking for something simular, but maybe closer to town with privacy and "elevation" on the water without the stilts."
