"Family oriented Great place to enjoy nature and also not too far from the city I am in love with this little town but I feel like it is growing too fast "
  • Petecruz07
"I work from home so have no commute. When I travel to Boston or nearby airports, I drive or use a car service. "
  • Mark P.
"bedroom community full of people who resent paying taxes and then whine when there are no services "
  • Vickyt_48
"Lake living - on such a tranquil and beautiful lake with lots of wildlife such as bald eagles, loons, otters, etc "
  • Matt L.
"There are lots of wood areas so there is a decent amount of wild life. There is a few lakes for swimming and walking trails as well."

"Iโ€™ve lived in Barrington for 3 years. Itโ€™s so friendly and has great community activities. Plus itโ€™s very safe!"
  • Sandy W.
"Nice town if you want a little space between your neighbors. Winters can be tuff if you donโ€™t live on a state owned road, or one that has been established for many years. I built and currently still live in this town for 24 years. Most people are friendly and caring. The school system is a good one. Town policies, and the people that represent them are the talk of the town. No transparency at all. Property taxes go up every year-ours are currently 9K a year and the town offers nothing. "
