Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records. This description is from February 16, 2024
150 Charles Street Penthouse-style apartment with panoramic views: Perched above the West Village on the North East corner of this remarkable, new full-service building, this unique home is bathed in light all day long with large expanses of windows facing North, East, West, and South.
The entry leads to a large, loft-like living room that features superb northern exposures through floor-to-ceiling windows with an adjoining kitchen. The kitchen is superbly equipped with Molteni Walnut cabinetry, Wolf, Sub Zero, and Miele appliances, LeFroy Brooks polished nickel fixtures, and gleaming Alabama marble countertops and backsplashes. The adjoining breakfast alcove leads onto the prize of the apartment: a generously proportioned 448SF landscaped terrace (maintained by the building) that stretches from the kitchen to the adjoining Primary Bedroom Suite: This suite is light and airy with charming, humanly scaled West Village views. A large walk-in closet and a gracious en-suite bathroom lavished in slabs of marble with a deep soaking tub, LeFroy Brooks fixtures, and heated floors make this an oasis. An additional bedroom suite has an alcove for a home office area. There is a third bedroom/home office, a powder room, and a full-sized washer/dryer.
Completed in 2016, 150 Charles is among the finest buildings in Manhattan, an impeccably managed full-service condominium in one of the worlds most livable big-city locations. While the West Village's appeal includes tree-lined cobbled streets, charming cafes, and boutiques, access to the Hudson River Park, Meatpacking District, New Whitney Museum, etc, its ultimate value might be the human scale of the area, protected via height restrictions that fill the neighborhood with light all year round. Designed by CookFox Architects and completed in 2016, the building houses 89 residences and boasts a full suite of amenities, including a private porte-cochere driveway and garage parking, full concierge service, a 75-foot lap pool, an icy plunge pool, hot tub, 3,000 square foot fitness center managed by The Wright Fit, a yoga/pilates studio, multiple common terraces, a club lounge with kitchen, and a playroom.
Note: there is a monthly assessment of $527.21 lasting until the end of 2023 for various upgrades and capital improvement projects.
Working Capital Contribution: 2 months of Common Charges.
Storage can be available, separately.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe old principal Lisa run the school in a incredible way. Since she left the new principal created major damage to this school. She NEGLECT students needs. Avoids what parents ask, she completely disregards what your child needs. Won’t even discuss the matter your concerned about. She’s the reason the school has such a decline compared to all the schools nearby.Parent Review1y ago - Jhs 104 Simon Baruch

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a guardian of a current student at this school, this student is being bullied and none of the teachers are doing anything about it. It was already pretty bad that the teachers aren't doing anything about the bullying, but it is worse that the teachers did not let this student tell their family members about it because they say that it will make it a bigger deal. It is not alright for a teacher to tell their student to not call their parent because of it will ruin their school reputation. The teachers dealing with this problem says that they will be able to fix the problem but they didn't do anything. Now this student is afraid to go to school because the bullies threathens to jump this student and call their friends over to also bully and join in. Also, the bullies didn't get in trouble because the teacher said that he did not see it happen. This isn't the first time this student was bullied but the first time, there was at least one teacher that tried to solve the problem but she left so now this student is having trouble solving this new problem. As for learning, teaching, and other parts of reviewing a school, if students don't feel safe then they obviously would not feel motivated or excited about learning and other activities.Parent Review1y ago - Middle 297
