"Mena is a nice country town with friendly neighbors. The small town atmosphere and natural scenery makes for a good place to live."
  • Jessica B.
"There’s nothing here at all... Walmart is the town center... not much opportunity for anything. Small town gossip"
  • Raigendaveforevs
"its really quiet most of the time other than that its just a neighborhood. real nice people when they're not being so nosy"
  • Aandrews129
"The neighborhood is a quiet, family oriented area. It is close to everything, and far enough from the main roads to be safe to walk, bike, and play without worrying too much about traffic."
  • lm68
"I have lived here most of my life. It's a wonderful place to raise a family. Small town friendliness and safety. There are a lot of outdoor recreational things to do. There are also lots of local shops and boutiques available for shopping, and there are a few "hobby" type clubs/groups to join. My husband has worked at a local plant for many years, they pay 2-3 times min wage. "
  • Elan20005
"Ok area for retirees although not much to do for those either, NO jobs and those that are here are minuim wage. NO activities for kids/teens. No malls, one old movie theater that is terrible. "
