About this House

Opportunity knocks for savvy buyers, flippers, and those seeking a superb location in which to add your updates to build instant equity. Don't pay a premium for someone else's gray walls, quartz countertops and fancy light fixtures, when you can add exactly what you want and make it your own. Those with a crew, an eye for design and the where-with-all to completely transform this already stately colonial can benefit on a resale (investment advise not intended). With ease of access to both Reading's desired public schools and private schools (Montessori and Austin Prep), the busy family will appreciate incredible convenience to both Rts 128 and 93 as well as the commuter rail, while enjoying all that Reading's bustling downtown has to offer, just a stones throw away. Imagine a new crisp white paint to the exterior, making this beauty really shine, a two car detached garage, and a lovely back yard, while inside provides some nice period detail, such as substantial wood trim, wood floors (type unknown) under carpeting, brick fireplace, and a pretty corner hutch in the dining room. Cherished by the same family for over 60 years, the time has come to bring new life to this home, where a next chapter can begin. Don't delay, the possibilites here are endless.

"The people are unique and the houses are all different. There are many trees and a playground for children "
  • Adam Graham
"We bought our home here in Reading 13 years ago when our first child was 1. We have 2 now and have been very happy with the schools and arts programs. Lots of walkers and joggers, several solid restaurants and take out places, a liquor store that has the biggest craft beer selection I've ever seen in my life, nice police officers, good road upkeep. I'm very happy to be raising my kids in this town."
  • 4yztwzyc4k
"Friendly people not a lot of noise. Lots of trees and grass. Town forest is very close by. Not a lot of trash"
  • Shauntsullivan
"Plenty of dogs in the neighborhood. Very friendly and most neighbors walk with leases. It is rare but being close to the woods and/or highway there are some fisher cats in recent years. Today a coyote was spotted in the neighborhood. Again, that was reported maybe 7 times in 10 years but pet owners need to keep an eye out for the little ones! "
  • Johnsonle
"Safe and friendly neighborhood where kids are always out playing and riding bikes. Supportive parents"
