5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, this school and district are not Safe for students. My child was bullied by a student, and physically assaulted on multiple occasions. The student prevented the class from learning and many other were assaulted and bullied. The students and teachers needed help and the school and district did nothing. Your child will not be safe at this school.Parent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Weiss High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI will caveat this to say that I'm a parent one graduated student and one sophomore and both were involved in both band and sports as well as advanced and AP courses, so that will most definitely make a difference! The teachers for these activities do seem to care and participate much more than they do at the more basic levels which is a shame, but the student involvement is higher there too. The sports teams and band do exceptionally well, considering this school has not been open all that long. The principal is horrible, so steer clear of her if you can. The safety comments are misplaced too - there are incidents at every single school and they're taken seriously here too. Join PTA. Have your kids join band, sports, and/or activities - high school would be tragic without that just about anywhere.Parent Review8mo ago14 Reviews - Bohls Middle

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFights happen regularly and kids being assaulted while at school. There is tons of racism and always an issue at the school. We would not recommend this school.Parent Review1mo ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 14910 Cameron Rd.

"Nothing unique about Manor, it’s like any other place. New places being such as grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses."

"My commute isn’t too bad because I work close but it can be a headache for those who have to go into Austin regularly. Traffic on the main road in and out of Manor is pretty bad during peak times."

"Dogs without leash. Repeated lost dogs. Poop in yard. Presidential is awful and HOA doesn’t keep it up to date or make it nicer. "

"There are craft fairs, city events, American Legion events all within 2 miles. We have lived here two decades and watched it grow from a tiny farm town to the place everyone is moving to. "

"Manor may not have lot of shopping, malls or fancy eating places, but you breathe lot easy here. No pollution, noise, honking cars or traffic jams. Lot of new residential contraction is coming up here and is perfect place to raise the kids and family. People pay three times to live in broken houses built in 50s in Austin when you can get newly built house here in Manor."

"Many families here, school system is now great. Lots of home decor for holidays which is very entertaining. Tennis courts available close to the middle school all year long, same thing for soccer fields or basketball courts. The city is also very diverse and is starting to have more and more businesses opening. "

"It is a nice quiet neighborhood and much better than most neighborhoods I've lived in since moving to Austin. People are friendly but respectful of your privacy. There are lots of family, kids, and BBQ events here. People are also very helpful when you need it! "

"Nice and neighborly! Everyone looks out for one another and it’s really quiet in my neighborhood. I never worry about anything because my neighbors have my back."

"Traffic is really bad here but I believe the mayor is working to make it better sometimes it takes 30 minutes to get out of this Siri it’s because he’s growing so fast and has not expanded the roads to be able to support the growing community"

"There isn't much to do in the Manor area. Any fine dining, or entertainment will have to be found closer to Austin. The city is rapidly growing, so traffic, and crime is on the rise. Manor is a relatively quiet, and safe place to live. "

"Just need to be careful and prepared. Lots of pit bulls. On my first walk in the neighborhood with my dog had a pit come after me. Luckily I had defense and the owner came and grabbed it. "

"I think this neighborhood is really awkward to get to. it's literally like right outside the city, but the access to actually get in here is so chopped up and backwards it takes forever regardless of traffic"
