Exceptional transition to school for Pre-K and Kindergarten students with extraordinary educators, excellent opportunities for family participation & community involvement. Parents and grandparents are welcome and encouraged to be involved with school activities. Students feel special & the teachers genuinely care about their students. There is open communication between parents/guardians and teachers. Bellingrath Hills provides a very safe environment where students can thrive as they confidently make new friends. Students leave well prepared for first grade. I highly recommend this school.

My child was top of their class and constantly underrepresented and mistreated without cause. Racism runs rampant in the school and any POC kid would be unsafe emotionally and mentally especially if they can’t find community.

Bullying and not just by kids but mentally from teachers to.

My daughter attended 1st grade with Mrs. Wells. She loved her classmates and her teacher. Children are placed with other children with similar abilities. My child was taught everything during class time, so she was able to complete most homework in minimal time at home. There is a high emphasis on reading, and they even have AR reading parties. The biggest downside is the bus system, and that is run by a private company.

I have had children in this school for going on 4 years now, and am so glad this is my last year with them. In the four years I’ve dealt with this school, we have spent over $7k on medical expenses. 5 urgent care visits (due to injury not illness) 1 emergency room visit and 1 police report later, student safety is still not taken seriously. 3 or the 5 urgent care visits could have been avoided had they notified me of the severity of my children’s injuries. The police report was on a TEACHER who physically grabbed my 50 pound son by the wrist to force him to write. That incident kept getting brushed off as ‘guiding’ but guaranteed if I ‘guided’ my child physically they’d call child protection services on me although they didn’t on the teacher he’s forced to see daily. The administration is a joke. I wish we had a day in our child’s education here but sadly you just have to hope no one targets your child while they are there because as my son says ‘they just don’t care about us’
