6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe recently moved from this district and my children started attending a public elementary school in the Midwest. Warning to parents, when they arrived they were behind in every subject except Language Arts and a full year behind in Math. We are discussing the possibility of summer school for them in order to try to get them caught up, but at Memorial both were scoring in the 90% range. Luckily where I am now communication is fantastic and the teachers and administration are working with me to salvage what's left of the school year for them, but it's hard to watch them struggle. Just be aware that Memorial isn't a "bad" school, but if you don't plan on being in Bloomsburg SD through graduation you may need to do some extra work with your kids to keep them prepared.Parent Review9y ago - Bloomsburg Area Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAmazing school! Has come such a long way in the past few years. With a new, dynamic Superintendent and new Principal, Bloomsburg High (and the entire district) is now among the best. Academically out-competes all others in the area. As a parent with kids in the school and having hosted International visiting students, I am so impressed by this school and how many graduates go on to college and other great achievements. The HS is a hidden gem!!Parent Review12y ago - Check out schools near 147 E 4th St.

"It’s okay cops cover up way to many over doses and the college kids have full reign of the area plus the law enforcement in this area only care about fines instead of well-being of the area and it’s citizens."
