Students with IEPs do not receive specialized instruction. The school limits parental involvement. Most students needing help receive top scores because of parent funding of private tutoring. The school treats students with special needs as a one size fits all approach and do not provide structured explicit instruction. The special education department creates a hostile environment for the families involved with students in special education.

Northpoint is a shining example of public education done right. From my perspective, Mrs. White and her staff strive to deliver a learning environment committed to accountability and excellence while not sacrificing compassion. They have expertly accommodated our three children, who have different learning styles. We are grateful to the Northpoint teachers, administrators, and staff.

The school did a very poor job of hiring its teachers! During the four years I went to Penn high I had a total of only two teachers that actually seemed excited to help students learn and did more than just show a video explaining things. They actually help students encourage them to ask questions and we’re not biased towards other students based on extracurricular activities my AP history, teacher favorite all the football players clearly. This is yet another school that portrays poor example of how kids should be treated in an area where they’re supposed to learn and forced to go.
