4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGenuinely probably the worst school I've ever known, during p.e my child was told "other kids with asthma can do this" while she was crying because she had to do very unnecessary 'warm ups' that were just long runs, which she has a hard time doing due to her asthma? He grouped kids with asthma together like everyone doesn't have different experiences. Not to mention, homophobia, sexism, racism, and trouble were either given no consequences or things that wouldn't work and just make them worse. Horrible teaching, horrible working. The teachers would lash out and none of the 'second step' videos would do anything. It just teaches common sense and sensibility that most children have, but it doesn't do anything to prevent bullies. People with mental health issues have a hard time and nothing about this school made it better. The p.e was disappointing too. This school sucks.Parent Review9mo ago9 Reviews - Echo Park Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had nothing but great experiences with Echo Park Elementary. My child has been academically advanced and their teachers have been challenged with keeping up with them, and they have done a wonderful job. My child is excited to attend school each day, and has made many friends at the school. The school provides many community opportunities such as a school carnival, a fun run, playground meetups, monthly food resources, etc. They have the right balance of active play alongside technology resources. We find this school community very friendly and welcoming.Parent Review3mo ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 143rd E.

"It’s kinda scary for the kids who walk to the bus stop to go school in the morning g Some people Have their dogs outside the front and barking every single day when they see the kids walking to the bus stop. It is annoying."

"Good places to walk around ponds/lakes- but not many dog parks. If you do go to a park, it’s not well maintained."

"I don’t have a dog. But the people that walk them seem to have control over them. They are all on leashes There are a lot of dogs in my building. I’m in the dog building. The dogs are pretty quiet compared to the kids running up and down the hallway. "
