My 7th grader had a great year at Columbia! The first week he experienced some bullying and had a teacher lie on him, but the principal, certain staff and security all made sure he was safe! He's always been a star student, but his first year at Columbia was the best academically! We're hoping for a more successful 8th grade year!

I have a 3rd grader and 2nd grader at this school and they have been going here since kindergarden. Everything was ok until this year. My son started changing and stopped showing interest in school. Last year he had great grades and would be excited about learning new things and how he would do great on test, but this year his teacher was absent most of the year, he never had homework and said he wasn't able to meet his reading and math goals because his class wasn't given access to the computers. I went into the office to talk about my concerns, and they told me that his teacher was having problems and leaving and that they didn't have enough teachers to transfer her class to other teachers. I felt really upset because basically my son lost a whole year of education. I am looking into changing them to a different school. Most days I see kids fighting after school when I go pick up my kids and feel like its getting out of control.

I went to this school all four years of high school. New buildings and good amenities. Take the AP courses and you’ll be college ready, I got accepted into many Cal States and UC schools and I’ve been prepared in my college courses. Enjoyed many of my teachers and the school had an assortment of extra curricular activities. Like any school, the student chooses how their time in high school goes and in which direction they choose. Definitely would recommend this school, they offer the opportunity to learn and grow as a student.
