4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMost of the students are inappropriate and know more than they should. Some talk mean about others and not all of them are friendly. The aids and teachers are great. Most students at this school are mean to one another and basically talk trash. Not much of them show kind sportsmanship. They shouldn’t be talking about things not mature enough for them. Most of them say swear words, I’ve seen many kindergartners speak this way. Most 5th graders at this school are not good role models for the younger students.Student Review2y ago - Norwalk High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI emigrated from England to Los Angeles, and based on the school reviews I was somewhat reluctant for my son to attend Corvalis Middle School. However, from our first visit with the school, the administrator and all staff were accomodating, warm, and welcoming. As a result, my son wanted to start school straight away. As a newbie to LA, the administration staff provided me with information as to where my son could get his immunization and provided me with relevant advice in order for my sons' academic year to go as smoothly as possible. Corvallis School was amazing, supportive, and the teachers were patient with my son and allowed him to settle in an environment that was very different from what he was used to. Do not have a negative opinion of this school. I would advise all parents to visit the school and then form an opinion as to what is right for your child/children. Sharon G. "Nothing. With all the chain restaurants we are just like every other city. There is not much in the way of history anymore. The current city council wants big business, not small family owned and run business "

"We have different types of events in the parks where parents can take their kids or they can walk to use the basketball courts, swim and bbq. The city has a a lot of free events for the people could attend such as city hall events, Carnival and bands etc. you have store and Resturant at walking or close distance. At one time had cows but still you can see horses since many homes have horse homes. People are friendly and welcoming in the area. I have lived in Norwalk since the 80’s and still feel safe. There are shopping center, theaters, nail and hair shops etc. at one time we closed the street for the 4th of July and enjoyed each other potluck in the front of the house. After majority of people died or felt the younger family do other things. "
