As a parent, all I can say is if you are looking to fail your children, send them to this school. I held on for as long as I could, because the options were slim to none in Clayton County. I decided to homeschool this upcoming year, because of my experience at this school. My son is on the spectrum, but he is highly functional, which made their jobs a bit easier you would think, nope. I could barely work because I had to come to that school so much. I would come and sit in the principal’s office to watch videos of children putting their hands on my child, getting bullied and anytime he tried defending himself. He was suspended. Teachers yelling and talking disrespectfully and degrading children. Your child will literally be failing, and nobody will contact you unless the principal forces them to. I will say this they have a phenomenal new principal and though her heart is pure and she’s trying to do everything the right way it’s going to take a few years to get that school to function ethically. My child had nightmares over the summer because of the abuse endured at this school. In one incident, a teacher just watched and refused to assist. My son dropped his tray in the lunchroom and it hit the cafeteria lady and she told him she wanted to slap him in the face so bad. I would not recommend the school to my enemy and I feel passionately about that. If this is your school of choice, remember you were warned.
