Description

Fall in love with this pristine center hall colonial located on a level lot with pond frontage in a desirable subdivision. The large eat in kitchen is the center of this warm home & leads you to a charming formal dining room, spacious family room w/ fireplace, vaulted ceilings & Palladio window or attached 2 car garage, located just beyond the 3/4 bath & laundry room. Outdoor entertaining is easy on the newly installed composite deck overlooking the park-like grounds which were enlarged when the seller removed trees & their stumps. The room by the front door was once used as a bedroom but now provides convenient office space. The lower level is dry & mostly finished, has electric heat, a cozy media area, open space where you'll find the billiards table & a bar w/ it's own Fridge. Raw space houses the new NATURAL GAS furnace & hot water heater with alarm, 200 amp electrical panel, access to the Bilco & additional storage. Permits were pulled, foam insulation added & a steel plate used to reinforce the carrier beam during renovation. Upstairs is where you'll find the private spaces including a large master bedroom w/ full bath & WI closet, 2 bright, cheery bedrooms, full bath with tub & a huge bonus room w/ a closet that could be a 4th bedroom. The 2 car garage was designed 5 feet wider so it's the same width as the house & has its own walk out to the backyard & paver stone patio. Nothing to do but move in & enjoy life.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

  • Kimberly Tucker
"Some roads have sidewalks. Some don’t. So you may end up walking them in the road. We do have a dog park now though. "
  • johane
"I have only lived in Seymour for about 3 years. Thus far it’s been a good experience from the perspective of raising a family. There really is not much to do in Seymour but we’re located close enough to other communities that have better shopping, dining, and recreation options. I am pleased with the school overall."
  • johane
"I don’t like that dog owners let their dogs out in their front yards unattended because I don’t appreciate being barked at on my walks."
  • Debkadice
"Dog owners would not like the neighborhood because no one enforces the leash laws or other dog laws or ordinances "
  • Cherylanncarlson
"lived here 11 years. our neighbors are great, friendly and we all help each other our. there are people who walk dogs on leashes in the cul-de-sac."

"We have cancer walks every October. The town loves to host Trunk or Treats at Seymour High school. There are parades. It's a nice "homie" feel in Seymour. I love it here and I'm a girl from the Bronx NY! "
  • Meghana R.
"Lived here for 4 years. quiet and safe neighborhood. There are plenty of trails to walk and explore. No sidewalks and the street lights are few and far between. Absolutely need a car. But other than that it's a nice place to live."
  • Hritterct
"Schools are close. Wish people would drive much much slower in the neighborhood. I grew up here. Not the same as it was but still ok. Easy commute. Convenient to RT 8 and Waterbury/Bridgeport. Many local stores. Parks nearby. Good place to start. Convenient to many local attractions and museums. Colleges within a 30 minute commute. Seymour is the best of the Naugatuck valley towns to live it. Wish folks would clean up their trash though. "
  • Casey G. .
