"Looking to move here, we love to visit. Seems like great senior community of people from elsewhere. Real estate is reasonable compared to many other places. "

"I rent five months a year. I am a snowbird. I like the climate better than home. We have met some very nice people during our stay. There are interesting things to do if you choose to. There are active and passive interests."

"I live in a rural sub-division of Green Valley, on 10 acres and dirt roads. I love it because I'm connected to Nature instead of concrete and asphalt. The main detractor, over the 20 years I've lived here, are "city folks" who move here, then are afraid of the dark and pollute the night sky with irritatingly bright lights, also usually pointed at their neighbors. We are within the "dark skies" range of Mt. Hopkins' Whipple Observatory, but Pima County is infamous for ignoring anything that might possibly save our fragile Sonoran Desert or is connected with nature instead of money."

"WITH GVR (GREEN VALLEY RECREATION), WE HAVE ACCESS TO SWIMMING POOLS, TENNIS COURTS AND NUMEROUS OTHER RECREATION ACTIVITIES TO ENUMERATE. HOA (HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION) TAKES CARE OF ALL COMMON AREAS THROUGHOUT THE GATED COMMUNITY. THE BEST NEWS IS THAT GREEN VALLEY IS UNICORPORATED, AND ONLY ONE SCHOOL TO SUPPORT SO TAXES ARE RELATIVELY LOW. THIS IS A 55+ ACTIVE COMMUNITY SO ONE OR MORE OF THE PEOPLE LIVING HERE IS REQUIRED TO BE AT LEAST 55 YRS OLD. I HAVE PERSONALLY LIVED IN GREEN VALLEY FOR 30 YEARS AND LOVE IT SO:)"

"Having lived and worked here, it's a wonderful place to retire. Tons of activities and close enough to Tucson that you have all the amenities without all of the traffic. 7 golf courses and 13 adult community centers with activities that support everyone's interests. "
