As a military family moving to the area from an advanced-level school district, our high schooler has thrived at CBH. They offer a vast variety of course options, and the honors and AP courses are what you would expect at a large high school. The medical science program is outstanding, and the students can graduate with multiple associate degrees and their high school diploma. If your family is looking for an excellent high school that is well-rounded and will set your student up for success in the future, Cane Bay High School is the school!

I would not recommend Carolyn Lewis School at all. This school is simply not a good choice, especially for parents who are concerned about their child’s safety and overall learning environment. The number of fights that occur here is absolutely insane. It feels like there’s a new incident almost every day. It creates a chaotic atmosphere that makes it hard for students to focus, and it seems like very little is being done to properly address the issue. As a parent, it’s incredibly frustrating and concerning to see this kind of behavior being so common without serious intervention. It’s not the kind of place where students can thrive academically or socially. (The ONLY good teacher there goes by the name Erin Zubkoff.)
